Ali had the marketplace idea and the drive. He needed the architecture, the design, and someone to make it look professional. That is what we mentor and build together.
The challenge
Ali had a strong idea and the drive to build it: a global marketplace where cyclists buy and sell bikes, parts and gear with real trust and protection built in. What he did not have was the technical architecture to build it properly, or the design and media skills to make it look like a platform people would hand their money to.
A marketplace lives or dies on trust. A good idea with an amateur-looking site does not get that trust, no matter how solid the underlying product is.
What we built
We mentored Ali through the architecture decisions behind the marketplace, then redesigned the site so it looks and feels like the professional, global platform it is, verified listings, buyer protection and encrypted payments, presented the way a trustworthy marketplace should be.
Ali knew the cycling market and the business model. We brought the technical and design judgement he did not have, so the product could match the ambition behind it. SummLabs is now taking on the promotion, building the paid social and content that will bring cyclists to the platform.

This is not a project we delivered and left. We continue to work with Ali as a partner, and SummLabs is now building the promotional content and paid social to grow the platform.
