“Earning within two weeks of launch, and now generating so many leads that Dougie has hired someone just to keep up with them.”
Claude Code is not a chatbot,so train your team to use it like an agent.
Claude Code is Anthropic's autonomous coding agent. It reads your codebase, plans multi-file changes, writes tests and ships features from a single prompt. Summone Consulting trains your developers to wield it properly, on your real code, not slide decks.
Autocomplete and an agent are different categories.
Most teams have tried GitHub Copilot or pasted snippets from ChatGPT. That helps at the line level but you still architect everything, paste the result, and fix the imports yourself.
Claude Code reads your whole codebase before it acts, plans a feature across multiple files, writes the tests, and runs them, from your terminal. The difference is not incremental. It is architectural, and it changes what a small team can ship in a week.
From a half-day workshop to an embedded sprint.
Rolling Claude out to the wider business instead?
This page is developer training in your own codebase. If the people you are licensing are managers rather than engineers, using Claude for tendering, estimating, documentation and reporting, that is a different engagement with different governance questions.
Judge us on what we ship.
“We find your buyers, write the emails, and send the outreach. Enquiries land in your inbox. You do nothing.”
“I had an idea and I just wanted to bring it to life. Summone supported me through the whole build, design, planning and testing. It was not just my idea, it was their support.”
Asked and answered.
What is Claude Code and how is it different from GitHub Copilot?
Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic coding tool. Copilot autocompletes lines of code. Claude Code reads your entire codebase, plans multi-file changes, writes tests, runs commands and deploys, all from a single prompt in your terminal. It works alongside your developers rather than suggesting the next line.
Do my developers need AI experience to benefit?
No. Developers already using Copilot or ChatGPT will move faster, but the training works from first principles. The only real prerequisite is being an active developer comfortable in the terminal.
What languages and frameworks does Claude Code work with?
Claude Code is language-agnostic. Training covers TypeScript, JavaScript, Python and Next.js in depth, but the tool itself works across any language or framework. We tailor exercises to your actual tech stack.
Do you deliver training in Scotland, and remotely too?
Yes. Summone Consulting is Glasgow HQ with an active Edinburgh client base, and delivers in-person across the Central Belt. Remote delivery is also available for teams that are distributed or hybrid.
Can you run a workshop for our whole development department?
Yes, this is one of our most popular formats. Larger teams get split into cohorts by seniority and role, for example a senior cohort on architecture and agentic workflows, and a mid-level cohort on day-to-day delivery. We have run sessions from 8 to 60-plus developers in a single day.
How quickly will we see results after training?
Most teams report a measurable velocity improvement within the first sprint. Developers who complete the full-day bootcamp typically ship their first Claude Code-assisted feature the same day.
What happens after the training?
Full-day and embedded sprint clients get 30 days of async follow-up support by Slack or email. We also build out CLAUDE.md configuration files and skill libraries tailored to your codebase as part of the engagement.
What does it cost?
It depends on the format: a half-day workshop is a different job to an embedded team sprint. The discovery call gives you honest, practical advice on the right fit and what outcomes to expect, before you commit to anything.
